Ngati Whare Deed Of Settlement
The Ngati Whare Deed of Settlement was initialled on 22 October 2009, and is subject to ratification by the members of Ngati Whare.
The Deed of Settlement for the comprehensive settlement of Ngati Whare’s historical Treaty claims has been finalised and initialed by the Crown and Te Runanga o Ngati Whare on behalf of Ngati Whare. Te Runanga o Ngati Whare is proposed to be the post-settlement governance entity (PSGE).
Adult members of the iwi of Ngati Whare now have the opportunity to vote for or against the proposed Deed of Settlement and PSGE.
